Lizzy Miles is a hospice social worker who brought the first Death Cafe to the U.S. in 2012! In this interview we will discuss her experience with the Death Cafe movement and then dive into her unique history with an SDE - Shared Death Experience. While her aunt was dying of Alzheimer's Disease Lizzy went through a 10-day SDE and she will recount that event for us. You will learn:

Lizzy Miles, MA, MSW, LSW is a hospice social worker and a passionate advocate for talking about end-of-life issues. She has presented her research and experiences with death and dying at national and international grief conferences. Lizzy brought the Death Café movement to the United States and has mentored dozens of other facilitators across the U.S with starting their own Death Café events.
